Forum Thread: GERRYMANDERING - how?

Hi there.

Saw earlier in the Scrabble that you can have the word GERRYMANDERING - how?! We can think of nothing that allows you to construct this word.

Any suggestions?

If Man and Ring are already both on the same horizontal or vertical axis, two spaces apart as autonomous words and you had the letters GERRYDE, you could make it. Also, the word gerrymander could be constructed through similar circumstances and someone could add -ING at the end.
